Scale Guide
Scales can be confusing so let's take a moment to learn about scales to help in your decision making.
To put it simply, scales are shown in fractions such as 1/4 or 1:4. Sometimes they are shown in measurements such as cm, etc. As an Engineer I prefer fractions which is why you'll only see those on the listings. Now the fraction is the scale versus a 1:1 figure so for example:
The average height of a person is usually between 5ft - 6ft. For the sake of math, let's assume the figure you are interested in is 6 foot tall. We take the total height and divide by the scale. So a 6-foot tall figure in 1/6 scale would be 1-foot tall or 12 inches.
Here's a quick table to give you an idea. Now remember, if a figure is big like the Hulk, he's going to be bigger than 12" at 1/6 because he is larger than a 6 foot human. Vice versa for smaller figures (think Rocket Racoon)
1/3 - 24" tall
1/4 - 18" tall
1/5 - 15" tall
1/6 - 12" tall
1/9 - 9" tall
1/12 - 6" tall
